Aaron J. Brock, Associate
Aaron joined Van Valer Law Firm, LLP in October 2018, after four years with a Tampa, Florida based law firm where he primarily defended maritime clients and natural gas and electric utilities’ companies. Aaron’s practice now primarily involves working closely with insurance carriers and self-insured corporations in the defense of litigation involving premises liability and worker’s compensation.
Aaron is a proud graduate of Wabash College in Indiana with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a minor in Classics. While at Wabash, Aaron was a four-year letterman and two-year team captain of the basketball team. Aaron graduated from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2014. During law school Aaron was a member of the Environmental Law Society and earned a Graduate Certificate in the Environmental and Natural Resources Law program. Prior to graduation from McKinney, Aaron clerked at a boutique law firm and gained experience working on complex construction litigation and eminent domain disputes.
Aaron is admitted to practice law in the state courts of Indiana and is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association Young Lawyers Section and the Indianapolis Bar Association. In addition to the state of Indiana, Aaron is licensed to practice law in Florida state courts and the United States District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.
